Pray and Walk Away? What does that mean?

People ask me pray and walk away, what does that mean?    You need to pray so that you can walk away from your challenges, your storms in life. Prayer can be your life line. It should be your life line. God wants you to have life and live it more abundantly. God wants you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Life isn’t always how we plan it. Some times life is hard and we need help. Prayer is that help. God will help you if you ask. Prayer is asking. You have not because you ask not. You tried everything else. Now try prayer!

God called me to be an intercessor. What does that mean? I pray for people in my prayer time. I pray about other people and their circumstances. I pray for the people around me, my city, my state, my country and other countries. I pray for God's will to be done in people’s lives. God has been very gracious and merciful to me. It has been a long journey but I’m still learning and growing. God had me study other intercessors and be around local and international intercessors. What I have learned is you can not pray for other people and expect for God to hear your prayers when you are walking in hatred and unforgiveness. Your prayers won’t go above the ceiling. I have to forgive or I’m wasting my time. I have been an intercessor for over 20 years. It hasn’t been easy but I’m thankful. I am humbled. God has shown me things that others don’t see. Why? To pray! People are hurting and people need prayer. Unfortunately many people need prayer and they don’t think that they need prayer. Life is hard and some times, many times, most times we need help. Sometimes it can get so hard that even if you believe in prayer, you don’t have the strength to pray. This is especially the time when you need others to pray for you. When you pray, you are giving the situation to God so that He can help you. As humans, we think we know everything but we don’t and this is why we need God. Prayer works, try it! 

I am a witness of what prayer can do! God has given me the privilege to teach me how to pray effectively and to pray for others. I have seen God work and it’s amazing! I didn’t just wake up one day and say prayer works. I’ve been living it for over 30 years! I have studied prayer and I am still studying and learning. Believe me! I know He is not done yet! I am always in anticipation to see what is God going to do next! Pray and walk away.
